Students investigate how food is grown, discuss healthy food choices and play 19th-century games within the inspiring surroundings of a historic working estate and its lush gardens. In the kitchen garden students learn about the life cycle of domestic food plants and gain first-hand experience of cultivation by planting a seed, to take home with them.
The teacher-led section of the program includes a walk to the waterfall and playing 19th-century games such as croquet, cup and ball, skittles, hoops and quoits. You can alter your booking numbers up until 7 days prior to your visit.
We will call you a week before your booking to confirm final numbers and requirements. You will be invoiced for the full cost of your program a week prior to your booking.
Cancellations made within 7 days of a booking will incur the full cost for the program. Cancellations must be made in writing.
